In hotel design, the lobby is often the first impression guests have when they enter the space.
This hotel lobby project uses warm wood tones, a dark reflective ceiling, soft lighting and a large translucent natural stone panel feature to create a calm, warm and memorable interior atmosphere.
In this project, Nalexible Indian Autumn translucent natural stone was used in the main decorative area of the lobby. When backlit, the stone reveals rich golden textures and natural depth, creating a strong visual focal point within the space.
A Warm Backlit Stone Feature
The biggest feature of translucent natural stone in hotel interiors is that it is not only a decorative surface, but can also become part of the lighting design.

This project does not rely on complex decoration to create visual impact. Instead, it uses real natural stone and architectural lighting to create a memorable spatial experience.
The large translucent stone panel feature is suspended in the centre of the space, forming a clear visual focus within the hotel lobby. The stone texture is not a repeated printed pattern. Each area has its own natural variation, allowing the surface to show richer details under light.
