Galaxy Black Translucent Natural Stone for Restaurant and Bar Interiors

Galaxy Black ultra-thin natural stone veneer used on curved walls, arches and bar surfaces in a modern restaurant and commercial interior.

In restaurant and bar interiors, material choice does more than shape the visual appearance of a space. It also plays an important role in creating atmosphere, depth and character.

In this Royal Fusion project, Nalexible Galaxy Black translucent ultra-thin natural stone was used across large areas of the interior, including walls, curved structures, bar areas and other decorative surfaces.

The deep grey translucent natural stone surface works together with warm lighting, metallic finishes and reflective materials, creating a strong and layered commercial interior while keeping the authentic texture of real natural stone.

Deep Natural Stone Texture with Galaxy Black

Galaxy Black features a deep grey to black tone with natural texture and subtle colour variation.

It is not a flat, uniform black surface. Under different lighting conditions, the stone reveals natural changes in tone and texture, helping large wall areas feel more detailed and less repetitive.

In this project, Galaxy Black translucent natural stone was used throughout the restaurant and bar areas to create a consistent dark material palette and a strong visual foundation for the interior.

Suitable for Curved Walls and Complex Interior Forms

The project includes a number of curved walls, arches and continuous architectural surfaces.

Compared with traditional heavy stone slabs, Nalexible translucent ultra-thin natural stone is lighter, thinner and more adaptable for selected curved surfaces and complex interior details.

From curved corridor walls to arched interior structures, Galaxy Black can follow the architectural form more easily while maintaining the appearance and texture of real natural stone.

Translucent Natural Stone and Lighting Working Together

Lighting plays an important role in how translucent natural stone is experienced in a commercial interior.

In this project, warm lighting, integrated backlighting, spotlights and metallic details bring out the texture and depth of the Galaxy Black surface.

Where the stone is combined with backlighting, light reveals additional depth and natural variation within the surface. This creates contrast with glass, metal and other interior finishes while preserving the authentic character of real natural stone.

Designed for Large Commercial Interior Applications

The project uses approximately 2,000 m² of natural stone surfaces.

For restaurants, bars, hotels, clubs and other commercial spaces, large material applications need to balance appearance with practical considerations such as weight, handling, lighting integration and installation.

Nalexible translucent ultra-thin natural stone keeps the authentic surface of real stone while offering a lighter material format, giving designers more flexibility for large wall areas, curved structures, illuminated surfaces, bar areas and decorative features.

Bringing Translucent Natural Stone into More Commercial Spaces

The Royal Fusion project shows how Galaxy Black translucent ultra-thin natural stone can be used across a large restaurant and bar interior.

Rather than being limited to flat walls, the material is applied to curved walls, arches and key visual areas throughout the space.

With its real natural stone texture, deep colour, translucent properties and lightweight format, Galaxy Black provides a more flexible way to bring natural stone and integrated lighting into modern commercial interior design.
